Breathing apparatus training courses in Sydney, NSW and Canberra
This unit of competency covers the skills and knowledge to check, operate and maintain breathing apparatus. This unit of competency is for workers that may require the use of breathing apparatus due to working in potential hazardous atmospheres, such as confined spaces. Operators may also require the use of breathing apparatus in an emergency situation if they are members of the confined space rescue team. There is no prerequisite for this course.
Successful completion of this training will be awarded the statement of attainment for:
MSMWHS216 – Operate breathing apparatus
Course consists of both theory and practical, including theory and practical assessments.
Duration:
- Full face-to-face: 5 hours
- Blended learning: Online theory + 2.5 hours face-to-face (recommended) - Include another course and complete on the same day - Save 10% of the total pricing when you combined courses!
Please note: All students must be able to communicate in English and able to complete all documents, including theory assessments. If assistance is required, please contact us prior to commencement of training day to discuss options. Failure to do this, may result in a student not being able to complete the training and a refund will not be issued.
